Primeway Home Solutions covers Harpenden and the wider Hertfordshire area, fitting loft boarding, insulation, ladders, hatches, lighting, shelving and balustrades. These tend to be booked together rather than one at a time, because a boarded loft is only as useful as the access and the lighting that go with it.
If you are boarding over insulation that is already in place, its depth matters. Insulation is usually laid deeper than the joists, so boarding straight onto the joists squashes it and reduces how well it works. Raised loft boarding lifts the floor above the insulation so it keeps its full depth, and that is how we board a loft in Harpenden as standard.
We work across Harpenden and the surrounding AL5 area, including St Albans, Wheathampstead, Redbourn, Kimpton, Flamstead, Sandridge. If you are just outside that list it is still worth asking, because the Hertfordshire team covers the villages in between as well.
Every job starts with a free loft survey, so you get a quote before any work begins. Call 01582 447754 to reach the team covering Harpenden.
